The lyrics are direct and personal. From the first verse, “Feeling suffocate by your virtual cushions,” I felt the pressure of imposition. It speaks of a world that wants to forcefully mold you. Of the need to escape the versions of oneself that others create.
Then the song takes a firm stand: “I’ll live in a forest if you’ll try to control me.” There’s a declaration of total independence. It’s a song about choosing your path, even if it’s difficult, even if it hurts. That line, “I’m an anarchist soul on my self-made road,” sums it all up. It’s rebellious but also profoundly honest.
